I'm surprised at the flavor. I thought I would need to touch it up, but no, perfect from the can. I use it to assemble small TV dinners for my wife. Usually a meat or main entrée, a veggie and starch such as russet potato, sweet Potato, all pureed of course. If you're running out of ideas or need an easy way to have dinner for those with swallowing issues, this is a very nice solution.
