HOPE Shelters

HOPE Shelters started due to a man being turned away because he was intoxicated and he froze to death. So HOPE Shelters opened and became and til this day is the only year round low barrier shelter in Oakland County. We take you as you are. No sobriety test, no background check, no ID required. My team helps to get our guests from being unhoused to to a place of their own. Last year we saw an estimated 466 individuals come through the doors of HOPE Shelters and helped house around 200.
