Homeward NYC

Homeward NYC (formerly West End Residences) provides housing and wraparound services that empower homeless New York City young mothers, seniors, and LGBTQIA youth to live life forward. A future starts with a place to live. Our housing is a launching pad to deliver our case management, counseling, group activities, and skills-building and empowerment programs that heal traumas and promote housing stability for formerly homeless persons. We own and operate three LGBTQIA young adult supportive housing (affordable housing with support services) sites, and a mixed-age housing site that is a transitional family shelter and an affordable housing site for low-income and homeless seniors. At each housing location, we provide counseling, case management, connections to community resources, group activities, and life skills programs. Our intergenerational residence is located on Manhattan’s Upper West Side; our LGBTQIA supportive housing residences are located in Harlem and the Bronx.
