Ventura County Rescue Mission

The Ventura County Rescue Mission was established in 1972 to provide food, clothing, and shelter for homeless men in Oxnard. The Lighthouse was founded in 1998 to expand the mission’s programs and services to women and children. Today, the mission is the leading provider of homeless services in Ventura County with 175 beds available for men and 112 beds for women and children. The Ventura County Rescue Mission and Lighthouse are both outreaches of the Rescue Mission Alliance, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
