Valley Food Bank

Valley Food Bank addresses the critical need for fresh and shelf-stable food by supporting a network of food pantries located in some of the most poverty-stricken neighborhoods in the San Fernando Valley. Partner food pantries are carefully selected, trained, and monitored by secret shoppers to ensure the food is being distributed correctly and at no charge to clients. They also provide food to other nonprofit organizations, and increase community awareness of hunger and food insecurity through involvement in multiple food drives, presentations, special events, and participation with advocacy groups.
