IFC Community House
IFC's Community House is the only shelter for men in Orange County. Community House targets community members who are experiencing homelessness and accepts residents through the Orange County Coordinated Entry process, which aims to take the burden off the person in crisis. IFC works to lower barriers to accessing and living in shelter, as being able to easily obtain shelter allows community members a way out of unsafe situations. IFC works towards the best practice of Housing-Focused shelter, as securing permanent housing provides a level of stability that allows community members to address other issues in their lives. IFC also participates in advocacy efforts to increase affordable housing in our area.
