Mid-South Food Bank

Mid-South Food Bank is the only Feeding America affiliate food bank in a 31-county area, serving west Tennessee, north Mississippi and east Arkansas. Located in Memphis, TN, Mid-South Food Bank provides food and non-food items to shelters, pantries, soup kitchens, youth programs, senior programs and other agencies that have ongoing programs serving people in need. In Memphis/Shelby County alone, 44% of children live in poverty so assistance with food, diapers and period supplies is a great need.

What we need most

Rice, beans, pasta, canned vegetables and fruit, and canned meat protein including tuna, chicken, salmon, and entrees like chunky soup, chili with meat and beans, stew, etc. We also have a Diaper Bank so we need diapers of all sizes, including adult, and period supplies.
