Lighthouse

Serving our community for over 30 years, Lighthouse has evolved into a local homeless service expert. Lighthouse’s focus on housing as the primary solution to homelessness has strengthened our impact throughout our region. Lighthouse implements housing-first programming, successfully operates a rotating shelter, provides various supportive services that move people from homelessness to stability, and is embarking on our first Affordable Housing Development in Oak Park. Our shelter program provides emergency lodging, meals, transportation, and case management services, while our housing programs provide a combination of rental assistance and in-home case management. Additionally, all clients have access to Lighthouse’s on-site computer lab, showers, and laundry facilities; and both clients and community members have access to Lighthouse’s clothing closet and food pantries.
