These are made with a softer material which my son needed. He still sweats laying on them, but theyre less evasion on his skin. I use one vertically across the bed underneath him. I leaves like 2inches in the front. But I put a second one in front folded in half incase he sees before I can reach for the urinal. He's about 5'8", 130 pounds. They do rip if you try to pull on them, but he prefers them because of the softer material. They do absorb the bms and urine fairly well.
