The project will take place on the 16th of February (Saturday) from sunrise to sunset at the Portola Valley Fire Station (135 Portola Rd., Portola Valley, CA 94028)

The donation and build of the Duramax 10x 8 Woodbridge shed at the Portola Valley Fire Station, comes as the first project in Betty Mills new "Build a Shed for Charity" Program, an initiation with the goal of donating and building outdoor storage buildings for local charities/ non-profit organizations to support worthy causes. Betty Mills chose the Portola Valley Fire Station, located in the Woodside Fire Protection District, as the recipient of the donation to honor the fire department's continuous efforts to educate the local community about fire prevention and preparedness. In addition, this project also seeks to raise awareness for this great local organization. The Betty Mills and Duramax teams will join forces with local firemen in this fun outdoor project to assemble the Duramax Woodbridge shed. Viken Ohanesian, CEO of US Polymers, Inc and David Schulhof, Co-President of The Betty Mills Company, as well as a spokesperson from the Woodside Fire Protection District will be available for interviews. In addition, a professional camera crew will film the shed assembly; the video will be used as an online tool featuring the steps of building an outdoor shed. We welcome local media to attend the event to help us support our fire department as well as to bring the local community together for a day of fun.
