  • Preparation : Week One: Discontinue all powder psyllium fiber and all fiber juice products. Administer 30 mL of HyFiber with FOS as a med pass or add to 4 fl oz. of a beverage once per day. Week Two: Discontinue all laxatives and stool softeners. Increase HyFiber with FOS to 30 mL BID. Week Three: Maintain 30 mL BID or decrease to 30 mL once a day as needed or directed by a healthcare specialist. Tube Feeding: Dosing to be determined by healthcare provider. Administration: Mix HyFiber with 30 mL of water. Infuse via syringe down feeding tube. Flush tube with 2030 mL of water before and after administration. Can be mixed with enteral formula.
