Baseline® Gravity Inclinometer

The Baseline Gravity Inclinometer is a range-of-motion measuring tool used to assess joint movement. It fits rehabilitation, therapy, and clinical evaluation workflows where direct ROM readings are needed from a dial. The inclinometer measures approximately 10 inch L x 4 inch W x 1 inch H.

Good Fit For

  • Joint range-of-motion assessment
  • Neck and back measurement protocols that call for two inclinometers
  • Rehabilitation and therapy evaluation workflows

Key Features

  • Measures range of motion for joint assessment
  • Dial resets to 0 before testing for direct reading of range traveled
  • Used by placing the inclinometer near the joint being measured
  • Direct dial reading supports straightforward ROM documentation
  • Some neck and back measurement protocols use two inclinometers at the same time

Applications and Usage

  • Measuring joint range of motion during evaluation
  • Recording movement traveled directly from the dial after taking a joint through its range
  • Using one inclinometer near a joint to assess motion
  • Using two inclinometers simultaneously for certain neck and back protocols

Packaging and Handling

  • Packaging: EA.
  • Some neck and back measurement protocols require two inclinometers rather than one
  • The measuring process starts by turning the dial until the scale reads 0 before moving the joint

FAQ

  • How is the Baseline Gravity Inclinometer used? Place the inclinometer near the joint to be measured, turn the dial until the scale reads 0, move the joint through its range, and read the range traveled directly from the dial.
  • What does this inclinometer measure? The Baseline Gravity Inclinometer measures range of motion, also called ROM.
  • Do some assessments require more than one inclinometer? Yes. Some neck and back measurement protocols require the simultaneous use of two inclinometers.
  • Is the reading taken directly from the device? Yes. The range traveled is read directly from the dial after the joint moves through its range.
