Disaster Workers Code Of Safe Practices - Today’s training program is to review some basic guidelines and a code of safe practices to help each disaster worker protect themselves and their co-workers during times of emergency. Safety and health are very important issues, not only to the people who are victims of disasters, but also to the professionals who render emergency services. Your safety and health are important to the victims as well as to yourselves, your families and to the agencies for which you provide these services. There are many dos and don’ts involved in any operation and we certainly can’t list them all in one short training session.
